Was great at the start but now just seems like a massive rip off. Before Cov, it was $30 per month and you could stay there all day and work. It was nice to get out of the house occasionally and spend a few hours there. Now? It's $30 per month (free for the first hour even though you still pay $30 per month so it's not free at all) and after the first hour, you need to pay per hour to stay there. It's cheaper if you just get a couple of coffees and sit at your local cafe and do some work for a couple of hours. I think for small business who rent out office spaces, it's a good idea as it gives your employees a good impression. It looks good, there's a little cafe there and everyone who goes there is typically well dressed, smart, entrepreneurial types. But in terms of the $30 per month membership and then paying per hour to stay there, that is crazy. I think it would have been 10 x better if they did this. $30 per month and you could go there for 3 hours without being charged because let's face it, no one is going to drive in their car to a location just to be able to work for 45 minutes. You would however do it if it was for 3 hours as that gives you enough time to get some solid work done, go for a quick coffee, etc. Maybe it's a great start for people who work at Chadstone shopping centre and only have a very limited of time so perhaps they go there on their work break to get some work done? Most people do have fast internet at home. Most people do not need to print stuff as 99.99% of things now are done online. Most people can make coffee and tea at home. So the $30 per month membership plus paying per hour to stay there is for what exactly? That's why I said, for free for the first hour is crazy as no one is going to go there for 1 hour as it's not productive. Make it 3 hours and I guarantee you'd probably double your memberships as at least people can go there to get out of the house and get a different environment even if it's a couple times per week. Something to think about More...

What do you love most about your job?
I like the creative side. I like to solve problems for the clients, and think of different ways to do things they might not have previously thought of.
I like how every project has it's own unique challenges, and that I'm not doing the same type of work day in / day out.
What inspired you to start your own business?
While I do keep regular hours for a full week, I like the flexibility of being my own boss and having time to spend with the family.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm very easy going, understanding and attentive to their needs. I have been through the building process, having built multiple homes of my own.
It's a daunting process, even for my developer clients, but it's a process that I'm willing to steadily guide my new clients through.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can provide services remotely, but I do like to have face to face meetings initially. Site inspections cannot be done remotely obviously.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have grown accustomed to online meetings, I can send them models of the project to view at their leisure. I practice safe hygiene at site meetings with face masks and hand sanitation. I would not go out for meetings if I'm feeling ill or slightly sick.
Concept Design
Preliminary layouts on your land describing what could be achieved. Could be multiple options.
Town Planning Drawings
Drawings delivered in a format to local Council standards that stand the best chances of achieving support / approval
Working Drawings
Drawings delivered in a format that could be readily measured and costed by a builder for the purposes of estimating, tendering and contracting. Drawings are technical enough in nature for builder to understand the design intent and execute accordingly on site. Drawings would also be relied upon for the issue of a building permit.
Contract Administration
An independent service offering clients / builders a superintendent to administer the time, cost and quality requirements of a building contract. The architect in this instance acts in the interests of the contract binding both client and builder until project completion. Includes responding to builder queries, resolving site matters, attending regular meetings and reviewing / approving of claims submitted by builder.
