Well if there was one secret that fixed everything, everyone would already have that body!
If I were to highlight perhaps a few keys..
1) Believe it or not, exercising is the easy part - It's what happens in the kitchen that really counts!
2) Be realistic - I've seen it before: Setting a large goal with big swooping statements like 'I'm going to exercise every day', or I'm going to only eat clean food.
These huge goals are far too unrealistic and subconsciously we are setting ourselves up to fail. Instead, start small with achievable goals you can manage. Recognise that 200g weight loss per week is still 10kilos over a year. That's better than losing 10 kilos in a few months and putting 4 back on across the rest of the year!
3) Ever heard that saying, "You are who you spend your time with"?
Big shock, it's true! If you're goal is to become healthier, it's a wise move to encourage the people who are closest to you to start adopting healthier habits, too. In helping them, you're actually helping yourself!
Instead of meeting friends for lunch and eating out, meet them and catch up over a walk.
Try some small group training and you'll find lots of like-minded people for some social accountability.

I love that every day, I get to work with inspiring, healthy and motivated young trainers who encourage me to be my best.
I also love seeing our members transform - in so many ways. When a person loses 30 kilos - they are no longer the same person - ever again! It's the same when someone runs 10km for the first time, or finds they now have no more back pain, more strength, etc..
A stronger, healthier, fitter body has a transformative effect on both the body and the mind. That's my favourite part!

In my uni days I had 2 trainers across 6 years. I trained with my first trainer for 3 years. She had lost 80kg and looked amazing. It was like she was reborn - she was vibrant, outgoing and a people-magnet. She LOVED her job, I was so inspired and I wanted that!
I was hooked and loved Personal Training from the moment I started, back in 2010. I love every part of my job and naturally, that evolved into owning my own personal training business, where I train with and mentor other trainers, help them build careers, and by extension, make a bigger impact in the health and lives of our community here in St Ives.

Experience and community. We're celebrating our 15th Birthday here in St Ives. We are the longest standing Personal Training Gym in St Ives and have created a positive impact on literally thousands of people in our community over the years.

We are not a gym. We just happen to have gym equipment!
Our members love us, because it's a safe, clean, bright, unintimidating environment for them to work out with their trainer, without a trainer or in our group exercise.

Yes, we can. Our trainers are experienced in providing challenging One on One live Personal Training Sessions over Zoom.

Being a private personal training studio we have the upfront advantage of far less "foot traffic" through our doors than your traditional gym or 24-hour gym.

Your safety is, of course, a priority. Our equipment is frequently cleaned and rostered.
We have sanitiser wipes for when people have finished with equipment and hand sanitisers placed around the studio for ease of use.

Services

One on one Personal Training specialising in resistance training, cardio vascular fitness and boxing for fitness.
Some of our trainers also have highly specialised boxing and bodybuilding skills.

We take care in sitting down with you to map out your goals and priorities, realistic time frames and what it would take to get you there. We then continue to measure your progress and help keep you motivated as your goals inevitably change and evolve over time.

We have our own in-house body composition machine, called an Evolt 360, which uses Bioimpedance Analysis.
This means a small electrical signal is transported through the body and back to the machine, allowing for a highly accurate snapshot of how much and where your muscle and body fat distribution is spread through your body. We conduct these scans with our members every two months to ensure measured and sustained progress.

At least 70% of your result is going to come from food! Whether your goal is fat loss, toning, building muscle or improving your cardiovascular fitness - If food is fuel, then you have know what and how to fuel your body for best, fastest and most sustained results.

We look at each member's individual body type, body composition, goal, time frame and activity level, then we create a food plan with you.

No printouts, no cookie-cutter approach. Just you and your trainer creating a healthy plan together that they will keep you accountable to each step of the way.

Exercise is more fun when you're training with friends!
To complement your regular Personal Training Sessions, members have unlimited access to our weekly Group Training classes.
You won't get lost in the crowd with our Group Training classes. We keep them small so you have more attention from our trainers who lead them. With a great variety and likeminded members around you, Group Training is a great way to increase your fitness.

We host monthly seminars and workshops. Each year, we host a myriad of events for you to get involved in. Whether it is a seminar on nutrition, mindset or exercise - or something a bit more hands-on and interactive, like a mobility or running workshop or cooking demonstration. We like to keep our members engaged and always learning!

We host monthly shopping tours - Yes, that's right!
Each month we take a small group of members through Coles in St Ives to help educate our members on best food practices according to their goals, how to read food labels and what to be aware of with companies' marketing strategies, appropriate portion sizes etc..
We encourage our members to bring family members like spouses, because if Mums and Dads are healthier, so are the families!
