I’m wondering if it’s changed owners recently because this used to be my favourite Vietnamese… now? Very disappointing!

Placed an order for 4 meals by phone at 5:20pm this afternoon. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I got to the store about 5:50 to be told it was about 5 minutes from being done but I could pay now. Ok. Duck into coles for a couple of things.

Come back to the store and sit down.

Wait.

Wait.

More people come in and are also told their orders are a little behind.

Finally at about 6:15/6:20pm (one hour after ordering) the counter person asks for my receipt and takes it into the kitchen. He and another man yell from the kitchen A LOT (in Vietnamese but sounds very agitated). To the point other customers and I are looking at each other awkwardly.

They come out to the bench behind the counter, yell some more, and go back to the kitchen.

Finally at about 6:25/6:30pm my order is handed to me with a “thank you”. No sorry for the extra long wait, nothing.

I wonder how long the other customers with me in the store and outside of the store also waited tonight?

Not the same Vietnamese Corner I’ve experienced many times prior. More...
