Vicky Flanegan-Adelaide Marriage Celebrant

As soon as I started researching local Adelaide celebrants online, Vicky stood out. She was fresh and funny and I immediately loved her style, from what she wears to her gorgeous branding and inspirational social media posts. She blends her glamorous and elegant taste with an authentically down-to-earth attitude. My husband and I were already satisfied customers with how our meetings and communication had been going creating a ceremony that cracked us up laughing and put happy tears in both our eyes - totally hitting the mark! But Vicky truly shined when the shadow of COVID19 fell over the world...threatening multiple times a day to rain on our parade over the last two weeks. Due to the government restrictions we could only have 5 people at our ceremony and had to cancel our wedding reception entirely... The amount of emails, texts and phone calls and my jokingly titled Draft 19 of the ceremony couldn’t have been managed with more professionalism or compassion. So kind, grounding and good-humoured, Vicky totally put my husband and I at ease and let us make the big decisions (that we legally were still allowed to)... and just be us. In addition to providing her usual services, Vicky even acted as a bridesmaid, wearing burgundy like my girls who couldn’t be there were meant to and fixing up my train for me. The clincher was agreeing to address and entertain our private Facebook group of about 80 family and friends via Livestream. She was exactly the practical and emotional support we needed and we can’t imagine this hilarious and unique wedding being facilitated by anyone else! We got married by Vicky on 17.01.2020 at Ivybrook Farm. Vicky was seriously so amazing and everything we wanted in a celebrant. We wanted our ceremony to be FUN, chilled and interactive and Vicky certainly brought the vibe we where after. Vicky is so easy to get along with and we knew from first meet that this was our celebrant. I knew Vicky was extremely organised and all over the legal side of things, Vicky also kept us on track with getting our vows completed and i felt at ease with the whole process. Vicky was a great help with two not so romantic individuals and helping us create a beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. On the day Vicky certainly knew how to keep us all relaxed including the bridal party, music operator and my Dad walking me down the aisle. The vibe was just as i had imagined and i can never thank Vicky enough for creating our perfect ceremony and starting our big party of with a bang. I would highly recommend Vicky!! More...

Where do I even begin? I knew our ceremony would be special, how could it not be, I was marrying the love of my life! How did I know it would be made so incredibly special with the help of you Vic. You did our ceremony better then we could have ever dreamed of, you made it funny, romantic & special all in one and we are still in awe of how amazing our day was. I had compliments all day on how good you were! It felt like a friend was marrying us and I can’t believe for how many couples you would get to know you made us feel like we were the only ones you were dealing with. You were clearly born to be a celebrant and how amazing that you have found something you couldn’t be better at. If you are looking for an amazing celebrate, absolutely look no further - you have stumbled on the very best. I still remember reading my ceremony draft and it was like she could read my mind on what we wanted our ceremony to have!
