A dynamic jazz duo, The Jazz Associates combine elegant musical expression of timeless jazz standards with a wealth of professional experience, and specialise in crafting a tailored musical entertainment solution to any event.
We offer the flexibility of a customised line up to best suit your needs, expanding from a core duo of trumpet and piano to a trio with upright bass, a quartet with vocals or even a quintet with drums for the highest quality music entertainment.

What do you love most about your job?
Mike and Tony share a deep love of the jazz "standards", with a particular fondness for the minimalism of Chet Baker and Miles Davis.
We simply love playing elegant and classic jazz standards the way the jazz greats of the past would have intended.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A shared love of performing jazz standards first brought Mike and Tony together in early 2010, which quickly lead to the formation of their long standing combo which has played all over melbourne for the last ten years.

A workings with over 10 years experiance, we understand the requirement of clients who need our services. We place I high importance on clear/immediate/timely communication, flexibility in our service and ensuring the highest quality of entertainment outcome for every event we are privileged to work on.

We are a live, in-person performance experiance for our clients - and as such, do not provide our services online or remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In line with the Victorian government's DHHS policy, we have an established COVID-19 safety plan of operations which can be provided to clients at request.
Safety of our patrons and ourselves is of the highest priority to us at all times.
