The staff seem SO unhappy it interfered with our experience - from making a booking to ‘giving it another go’, all the way through to being seated, ordering and making payment. On one occasion, despite calling ahead to confirm they could accommodate and stressing this on ordering, the chef was not willing to accomodate our dinner guests celiac dietary requirements (not an ‘intolerance’). Our poor waitress beared the brunt of it from the chef who “does not like her”, as well as our dinner guest, a well respected international chef, expressing her disappointment. More...

Food was sensational and with a group of three families also very fast on a Friday night with limited staff, unfortunately the ‘waiter’ seemed in a bad mood and definitely did not provide the service others have favourably mentioned. I was advised he is actually the owner, making the behaviour more disappointing. The clincher for this review though is the restaurant not allowing split bills - they will buy by ‘groups’ not items, so with three families we could pay a third but that was it. Absolutely ridiculous when the bill is printed and the staff are using a calculator to divide the bill evenly. Just add the items and mark them off! This process does not work when one family may have four kids and ordering mains and desserts and another family has a baby and a shared meal. Will not be back. More...
