I don’t know if words can express my gratitude to Joe and his colleague. I organised Step by Step to move my 3x2 in into a storage locker, now I’ve had some pretty terrible experiences in the past, but I thought I’d trust my local community Facebook group and take the leap of faith and boy was it worth it. Joe was transparent, timely and communicative and extremely careful. It was a big job, I didn’t realise just how much stuff I’d accumulated until I had to put it into a storage locker. This man can do it all, I had an issue with the size of my locker, Joe was truthful, he was unsure about the locker size and the amount of stuff to move (boy was he right). Joe managed to get me a small discount on the bigger locker, (what a relief) what can’t this man do? He’s a mover and a negotiator! But honestly, I cannot recommend Step By Step Removals enough, Joe is a diamond in the rough of removalists, he is honest, timely, personable, strong and I couldn’t fault a thing. More...

As a professional removalist at Step By Step Removals, I get a thrill out of the challenges that come with each move. Every home and office move is different, and I find it incredibly satisfying to think critically and find the best way to tackle any obstacle that comes our way. And let's be real, there's nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishing a physically demanding task and being able to say, 'Hey, we moved that!' What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own business has always been a dream of mine. The inspiration for Step By Step Removals came from my experience working for a small family-owned company. The owners had a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a supportive work environment for their employees. This dedication to their customers and team ultimately led to their successful growth into a large global business. I was so inspired by their approach, and I knew I wanted to bring that same level of commitment and care to my own company. We have implemented several measures to ensure the safety of our customers and team members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team members are instructed to stay home if they feel unwell and all team members undergo regular hand washing and sanitization to maintain hygiene. Our uniforms are also regularly cleaned. For customers who are immunocompromised, we ask that they let us know in advance so we can take any additional safety measures that may be necessary. We take the safety of our customers and team members very seriously and are committed to doing everything possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
