Unfortunately, people only tend to see the end result, and not what the person had to do to reach their goal. As we like to say “You do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems”.

As the owner of State of Fitness, what I love most about my job is the opportunity to witness and facilitate transformation. Every day, I get to see our members embark on their personal fitness journeys, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals. What also brings me immense joy is the sense of community we've built at State of Fitness. Seeing members support and motivate each other, creating a positive and inclusive environment, reaffirms the vision I had when starting this business.

Moreover, I am passionate about the constantly evolving nature of fitness and nutrition. It's exciting to stay at the forefront of new training techniques and nutritional science, and to bring this knowledge to our members, enhancing their experience and results.

My inspiration to start State of Fitness stemmed from a deep-rooted passion for health, wellness, and helping others. From a young age, I was fascinated by the incredible capabilities of the human body and the transformative power of fitness and nutrition. This interest led me to pursue a career in the fitness industry, where I worked as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant.

What truly sparked the idea of starting my own business was the realization that I wanted to create a space that went beyond the typical gym experience. I envisioned a place where the focus was not just on physical training but on holistic wellness, encompassing mental and emotional health as well.

I also saw a need for a fitness community that was more inclusive and supportive, where people of all fitness levels and backgrounds could feel welcome and empowered. I wanted to create an environment that fostered a sense of belonging and motivation, making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Lastly, my own journey in fitness and nutrition, including the challenges and triumphs I experienced, inspired me to share my knowledge and passion with others. I wanted to build a business where I could directly impact people's lives, guiding them to healthier, happier versions of themselves.

Yes, we can provide online and remote personal training services, diet and nutrition services. This includes weekly or monthly feedback, video updates and reviews, personalised coaching and programming, and access to our very loved State of Fitness Member Resources.

At State of Fitness, we've implemented stringent hygiene protocols, social distancing measures, and regular sanitisation of equipment to ensure our clients' safety and health amidst Covid-19.

Improving our member’s strength and fitness is the cornerstone of our success. Improve strength has a direct correlation to lean muscle mass, bone density, improved stability and mobility, ability to fight-off muscle loss, and many more factors.

We don’t believe in our members spending their session on treadmills, so if you need to improve your anaerobic and aerobic engine (fitness), we can structure your workout to maintain a moderate/high heart rate for an aerobic effect, and finish the session with interval training which has significant value in improving health, fitness, and performance.

Your results from the gym will be significantly impacted from what you do in the kitchen, so we endeavor to provide each member with the inclusive resources, tools, and support to be successful in and outside of the gym. But, we recognise that some people need specific help and accountability with their nutrition, so we have developed 3 core nutritional coaching offerings to help our community:
1) Progressive habit change
2) Protein anchored flexible eating
3) Specific calories and meal plan

Each option is supported with a tailored plan for you as an individual, that can be adjusted on a recurring basis (weekly 15-minute catch-ups) or created in a once-off 1-on-1 consultation.

Success with our members in reducing and removing chronic and acute pain has revolved around the method of “diagnose the movement pathology and not the specific injury”. We find that people get too laser-focused on the specific injury, and tend to neglect how the body is moving, breathing, and reacting as a system. Specific and isolated interventions have their time and place, but typically we focus on how you move as an individual, while understanding functional anatomy and effective interventions to improve stability, mobility, and reduce compensations.

Our comprehensive Diet and Nutrition Management service is tailored to fuel your fitness goals and nourish your body.
