We ordered two packs for catering for a birthday party from the Stanhope gardens store & were very happy with the food & how well it was packaged leaving it very fresh & delicious hours later . We would highly recommend this to everyone that would be interested in ordering a healthy yet delicious meal of wraps , baguettes with a variety of options for their next celebration. I took one sip of my coffee this morning, fumbled the cup and dropped it. Walked back to the cafe and mentioned my unlucky start to the day and the barista gave me a new one for free. Made my day!

Soul origin everywhere in Brisbane are great. I visited the soul origin at north lakes today. Soy cappuccino was the worst I have ever tasted. Threw it away. Sandwich was rubbish too. I love their salads! I haven't visited for over a year, so i was staying close to their Bayside store, so i went in and bought a large salad every day for a week. Firstly, the quality and consistency of the salads were perfect. My favourites were the chicken and vegetable, and the pasta and veg. When i bought the chicken and veg, i thought at first they were light on with the chicken, only two or three slices per large container. But when i got it home, those slices were thick so the ratio was perfect. Price wise the food is on par with other places or maybe 10% more expensive. But considering there's nowhere close offering these types of healthy meals then the price seems acceptable. Then i also watch what i eat and kilojoules etc, so these were printed on each food type. I found i was eating about 2,500 KJ at the most depending on my mix. Given the meal size and low fat, this was well above what i'd hoped. The staff were really friendly and efficient. I did encounter one person who seemed to be unhappy and snapped at me, but maybe she was just having a really bad day. Overall i'd have to rate my seven day experience as a 4.5 / 5. If you're after a healthy meal, it's definitely worth the visit. More...

I just ordered salad to eat here (not take away) and was asked if I wanted the $8 afternoon special. They kept trying to put it in a plastic box. I reminded them I wanted to eat it here and asked for the cardboard plate. They still wanted to give me the plastic box and I had to repeat it twice! Then they charged me $10.50. I could only have the special price if I would agree to take a plastic waste product! Why do you give people a financial incentive to create more plastic waste? whilst I cannot recommend the food at soul origin enough (if it was slightly closer and open in the evening I would get a good 2-3 days a week when I have nothing out of the freezer) and I have had great coffee in the past, sadly today on world coffee day my espresso today from Elizabeth was lacking. I am not sure if they may have been out of the single origin (in which case had I known I would have opted for a milk drink).
