Here at Singing B, we are strongly focused on a holistic teaching approach to one on one vocal training. We focus on the fundamental foundations and techniques around safe singing practice and performance to produce long-lasting, resilient, and strong vocalists.

My name is Bri. I am a working singer, actor, and dancer, I understand how crucial proper vocal coaching is to a person’s vocal, mental , physical, and emotional longevity. Knowledge of ‘how’ to properly apply vocal techniques is crucial to your own private practice . I approach each student with empathy and care in order to build a trusted, safe and friendly learning environment. Positive mindset is just as important to singing as the physical. Confidence is grown from belief, and I believe if you can speak you can learn to sing!

My technique comes from an understanding of how the body functions and the natural way the body safely and most effectively produces sound. Singing should feel free and easy, steering clear of what doesn’t.

I am in element as a singer and love working one on one! I love what I do and I am dedicated to achieving great results but also my personal relationship with each student, their goals, hopes and dreams and how to hold these dearly and strive to support them entirely.

The Singing B Studio holds current working with children checks, we also cater to a wide rage of ages from primary school age to adults, from beginners to professionals.

A little bit more about myself, my qualifications are in Musical Theatre, I studied at the National Theatre Drama School and at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) graduating in 2017. For the past 16 years I have trained in voice being taught by some of the best in the industry from Philip Quast, Peter Cousins to Gary May and Adam Wood to name a few. I trained predominantly in classical technique, and then broadened to styles such as contemporary, pop, jazz and musical theatre, which I went on to study. I have worked professionally in the performing arts industry since I was 12 years old and since graduating have worked predominately as a professional vocalist and musical theatre performer. When not on contract I work as a musical theatre, voice and acting teacher. Some credits include playing the role of Marty Maraschino/Rizzo Understudy Grease the Musical, First Soprano lead in Columbus The Musical, recently I finished touring CHESS the musical nationally in Australia with Natalie Bassingthwaighte produced by Storeyboard productions as a soprano. I was an ensemble vocalist for Sydney Theatre Companies Chimerica. I have frequently sung for corperate charity organisations such as Allannah & Madeleine Foundation, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Dance Cancer Initiative and Life Education Australia, to name a few. I still train voice with Adam Wood, who I owe my incredible foundations of singing to as even teachers/ professional performers still need to check in with a coach.
