I’ve been to Sydney many times and every time everything went so smooth and quick. The immigration process is very easy and fast. Best airport I’ve been so far.

It’s a nice airport, can be crowded but it’s a big airport, I flown in from Dubai on a Airbus A380-800 runway is big, tax free is alright nothing fancy, I like the bar at the airport many drinks and not the worst prices for a airport, also pretty big parking system, pretty clean and easy to navigate around, I recommend this airport

It's an airport... what else can you say. Kilometres of over-priced duty-free shops, lots of people and food outlets. Very clean, feels very safe and secure. Plenty of seating. The toilets were nice and clean. More...

I avoid this Airport like the plague. I only Fly DIRECT to my destinations. Stop OVERs only cause chaos, delays and errors. The last and FINAL time I flew through here was en route to The Cook Islands in 2019 . The Cook Islands provides outstanding hospitality. I had the owner of a taxi company drive me wherever I needed to be on the island. I became good friends with Islanders. Conversely, they found it incredulous that after 5 days, MY luggage was not flown to Raratonga. Apparently, JET STAR doesn't cooperate with Air New Zealand. Air New Zealand called Jet Star in Sydney Airport 12 times about sending my luggage on the next flight. Since I had arrived in Raratonga there had been 10 flights from Sydney to Raratonga, NONE of which transferred my suitcase. Jet Star ackmowledged my SUITCASE had been idly sitting in the airport the ENTIRE 60 HOURS, they were just being obstinate and DISRESPECTUFUL ULTIMATELY, i called the Airport and demanded caustically that my PROPERTY be flown IMMEDIATELY to Raratonga. I announced that 'no one will ever fly with you, if you fail to take care of THEIR luggage.'My luggage arrived the next day. The Cook Islands citizens stated that 'they're tired of copping the problems of Australians.' I've never flown to Sydney International Airport again. Qantas and Jet Star are on my ban list. There are many other airlines, don't waste your time with their Incompetence More...

Outbound was great, but returning was a joke the queue for immigration was back past duty free, took my 45 minutes just to get a ticket for the e gates than another 45 minutes wait to get to the six operational e gates. ..... Then the e gate I used was playing up letting every second person through. I had to go to the counter and yet another queue. After that go my bag, had to say if the bag snatchers are getting more efficient or not when you are in customer for an hour and a half. Next, que QANTAS, because so many people had to be rebooked due to the farce at immigration, the queue to get drop your bag at QANTAS was almost back to McDonalds..... That was another 80 minutes of joy. If you can try to avoid going through Sydney. More...

Long delays at gate 26F. There is too much congestion to go on busses to remote apron. Qantas called two flights with 3 in flight numbers confusing passengers. All caused flight to be delayed over an hour. No appologies, just moved us along like cattle. More...

SYDNEY DOMESTIC AIRPORT: Jetstar and Virgin security are busy all the time, so instead of assisting the queue length by adding body scanners, like all 1st world airports, they exist in the late 18th century from a technology perspective and make disabled passengers or passengers who have had hip and knee surgery remove their shoes as they suffle through the machine then told to wait on the other side for a human to redo the job. It is a degrading lengthy and unnecessary experience given that the tech to circumvent it has been available for a decade. You make enough money for your investors through your PAX figures, how about upgrading your security to the modern age. We know you can do it, just takes a little effort and obviously thousands of bad reviews. More...

If I could give it minus stars, I would. One of the worst airports in the world. The car park asked for a review as I exited and I laughed at the irony! Green lights to indicate there are spaces - except they don't exist. Ridiculously overpriced given what's on offer. A lift that only goes to level 5, so you have families with prams and luggage, people in wheelchairs, etc. looking for lift and none available. I had to convey this to many people searching for a lift on level 7 of P2. You exit the station nowhere near where you can drive and collect someone who's arrived. I was assisting my 88 yr old father and had to leave him waiting outside the terminal while I hiked to the carpark and then drove a couple of kms to try and get back to him. We have an aging population and there's no assistance for elderly people or people with disabilities for that matter. It's hopeless. Add to this the endless works that surround the airport like a strangulation. Sydney Airport - you suck! More...

Not smooth flying this morning! Very ordinary performance from transit security team, confused, indecisive, punitive and borderline incompetent - this is bad for so many reasons. Transit desk was just a 'no' didn't listen to our question and didn't even check our details so she could provide a considered answer - just 'no'. Bathrooms seem to be very very busy and queues out into walkways and corridors is not the picture of a well working facility anyone wants to see. These bathrooms were a mess and smelly - busy areas need more attention. While I'm on a roll, Cleanskin Coffee is the weakest coffee I have had in years, pull your socks up guys! More...
