Purchased a battery in June 2020, scheduled for insulation in early August, day before insulation installer rang me say can't install not all items where supplied to him, then corona, once restrictions where lifted kept telling me can't install due to corona but restrictions where lifted, when i informed them that there are not restrictions there story changer we do not have a installer available, this is November now they took my money 3 months ago, so fed up i asked for a refund nearly 4 weeks later after a couple of phone calls, i go🤬🤬t an email advising me my refund has been processed, minus the credit card fees charged, so after 4 months no battery and out of pocket around $60, not to mention all the phone calls and emails. I have just had my 10.3Kw battery system installed by ShineHub, extremely happy with the installation. Consider Fail over power ! not included with any battery system but ! You may all want to think about one issue that is not a requirement but is very important to understand. When the power from the street fails the battery dose not kick in so the house has no power. I had Solar Hub include a fail over switch and re wire the switchboard I can walk outside and flick one switch on my switchboard and run essential power to circuits in the house. That includes Lights, fridge, power points that feed my internet router, Microwave & TV. I excluded Air conditioner, Hot water service, stove. But I now have around 10 hours of battery to run my essential services at no charge ! 10 Hours is usually enough time for the power from the street to come back on. Food for thought and in the scheme of things around 800 to 1000.00 money well spent. Hope this helps you all and very happy with the service and outcome. More...

Shinehub-solar have installed a 20kw battery and connected it to my existing 10kw solar system. I am very impressed with the whole process from the initial call to Shinehub-solar where they told me what I would need and how I could receive $8500 in rebates and offers and I could do it with $0 up front. The whole thing was easy. My wife and I have had 12kwh battery and 6kw solar array installed on the payment plan and got Our first electricity bill since installation. What ShineHub says they can do, they did. Our bill was reduced to nearly just the line supply charges and we produced enough excess energy to sell back to AGL to cover that and more. So basically, it really does do what it says on the box.
