What do you love most about your job?
I love absolutely everything about the wedding industry. Being a part of the process of a couple's wedding is one of the most rewarding experiences I could ever imagine. I love meeting couples for the first time and hearing all about how they met and what type of ceremony they would like.
People ask me if I get bored doing so many ceremonies. My answer is "definitely not". I remind myself of what it feels like when your wedding day arrives. The entire day, not just the ceremony. In the morning I am aware the bride would most likely be getting her hair and makeup done with her bridal party. At that same time I am probably recharging my PA system and checking off everything I need to pack in the car. I consider myself part of the day and part of the experience. I am involved, and honoured and excited to be such an important part of the occasion.
At the actual ceremony, I enjoy talking to the groom and trying to keep him calm while we are waiting for his bride. I love the moment when I tell him to turn around so he can see his future wife walking towards him. Why on earth would I get bored with that?
Why should our clients choose you?
What is included in my personalised package:-
1. Obligation free meeting either at your home or over a coffee to make sure you are comfortable with me. We will discuss your ceremony and get to know each other a little. I will hold your date for 2 days to give you an opportunity to decide as a couple, if I am the celebrant for you. Upon receiving confirmation from you, you will receive an email with more information and some paperwork to get the ball rolling. A $150.00 non refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking to secure your date.
2. A second meeting to sign the paperwork and discuss your ceremony in more detail. I will take lots of notes and we can discuss options and ideas. I will then be able to write "your story". Your ceremony will be personalised for you and will be about you.
3. I am available to you by phone or email at any time to answer any questions you have or to simply have a chat about your ceremony.
4. You will receive a draft ceremony from me for approval. Any desired changes can be made. It is your ceremony and you must be very happy with it.
5. A rehearsal at the venue or another location if desired.
6. Commemorative Marriage Certificate.
7. Beautifully printed and presented final ceremony for you to keep.
8. Completion of all legalities and lodgement of documents with Births, Deaths and Marriages.
9. A signing table (if required) complete with white cloth and floral arrangement. I also provide quality pens.
10. Inclusion of special rituals i.e. hand fasting ceremony. Other rituals such as sand unity ceremony may incur additional charges for materials.
11. A professional, portable PA system complete with wireless microphone.
12. Access to my extensive collection of music.
13. I am able to play your ceremony music for you if required.
14. Average ceremony completion time is 25 minutes. This is ideal for both you and your guests.
I donate $10.00 for every ceremony I perform to the Smith Family to assist Aussie Kids.

Unfortunately not. A celebrant must be in attendance at your ceremony.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have an official QR Code so your guests can register at your ceremony. I also provide hand sanitiser for your guests.
Marriage Celebrant
My services include:-
1. Face to face meeting to sign paperwork and discuss your ceremony.
2. Completion of your paperwork for Birth's Deaths and Marriages.
3. I write a beautiful ceremony for you. Even if you only want a short, simple ceremony it can still be memorable.
4. I am available to you at any time for any questions you have throughout the lead up to your ceremony.
5. I have a PA system and signing table with 2 chairs.
6. I can play your ceremony music for you if you like (aisle walk, signing, finish)
7. I deliver your ceremony with professionalism and a bit of humour thrown in if the opportunity arises.
8. I send your paperwork off to Birth's Deaths and Marriages after your ceremony.
