Ros from Pawsitive Connection has provided me with the tools on how to train my puppy. Our one on one classes have been tailored to our needs, and today for the first time my puppy was walking on the lead without pulling. Ros is patient and able to read dogs and owners well. Adopting a rescue dog comes with their own set of problems and in my case, adopting a deaf rescue dog had me feeling somewhat overwhelmed, not being able to get her attention and to connect with her. After contacting Pawsitive Connection, Roz contacted me and we set up a time. From the moment Roz attended to Daisy, she was a different dog. Roz helped me to get her attention, helped me to control unwanted behaviour, and helped me to train new tricks. Nicola has been such an amazing support... with her carefully planned sequential instruction, she taught me to better read an environment and Tilly's reactions, thus making both of us feel more secure and confident when we were out and about. Our favourite place now is along the foreshore at Brighton, which can be very busy with dogs walking their owners. And we are managing well! Nicola scheduled one-on-one sessions at a park as well as Zoom sessions so that I could master a range of critical skills. Tilly loved her time working with Nicola, as did I. My dog LOVES going to training with Ros! We attend parlour, scentwork and sport dog activities and each time my dog comes home with me happy and calm. All three of our maremma sheepdogs have been attending Fun Scent Games with Rachael. I originally only enrolled my two girls - both are rescues and one is quite nervous while the other loves sniffing and seeking. They have a ball each class and now their big brother is learning and catching up. A well-run class and wonderful enrichment (snoring often heard from the back seat on the way home). The best dog training in Brisbane! I've been to other puppy shools and Pawsitive Connection is by far the best. I worked with Nicola, Anne and Rachel and they were all incredible. Positive techniques only that really worked for my dog. They have a wide variety of courses to continue to challenge your pup and if I weren't moving to NSW tomorrow im sure I would be completing every course they offer!
