They did a fantastic job incorporating our current home into the design as well as adding all the extras and specifics that we wanted. What do you love most about your job?
The best part of our job is seeing our clients actively involved in the design process and as a result more invested in & happier with the outcome. This has become a big part of our design ethics - to 'engage and include' rather than only 'suggest and provide'. We also simply love to design. As a relatively young practice, we see every project with a set of fresh eyes and enjoy exploring the full potential that a renovation, upgrade or new works project might hold for both its user(s) and the greater urban context.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The strongest motivation which helped realise Nimbus Architecture and Heritage is seeing the centralisation of design services within the inner-city Sydney region. We are proud to be distinct in our locality to the Western Sydney area and therefore in proximity to the 'heart' of Sydney's second biggest CBD. We are driven to provide quality architectural and heritage consultancy to the whole of Sydney, including the edges.
