Wendy came to me in Bouvard she knows her stuff, (Training dogs) I was very happy with her advice and knowledge. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with training a dog. we had a hour and a half on site practical visit and help . On the strength of what she observed and my requested outcome , she went away and she wrote me a full report as to her advice for me as reference that can be reread in the future. Behaviour Modification Package
Comprehensive dog training and behaviour modification training. Includes 90-minute initial consultation, comprehensive training plan and 2x 60 minute follow up sessions.
The behaviour modification package is designed for dogs requiring assistance to manage anxiety or aggression.
When addressing anxious or aggressive behaviour, a combination of management strategies and training activities is recommended with a comprehensive, multi faceted training plan to modify the behaviour and address the underlying cause.
The behaviour modification process is more in-depth and requires longer-term training and monitoring. The initial consultation outlines the specific strategies and training activities to be implemented after an in-person assessment of the dogs behaviour.
An additional two follow up sessions are provided to ensure that the training plan is progressing to modify the behaviour and to provide additional coaching and support as needed. Additional coaching calls or in person follow up session can be arranged at your request.

Coach at Home and Coach at Home Plus
One-on-one in-person dog training and behaviour session to bring out the best in your dog.
Coach at Home is a 90-minute consultation with training materials and follow up support via phone and email.
Coach at Home Plus is a 90-minute consultation, training materials, 60 minutes follow up session and support via phone and email.
If you are experiencing one or more domestic issues with your dog, need assistance with walking related behaviours or are looking for foundational obedience training all delivered to you in person, this is the session for you.
For a Coach at Home session I come to you so I can see your dogs behaviour in person and we can head out for a walk in your local area to help with any lead issues. During the session I demonstrate the training techniques to address and modify the behaviours or teach the new skill and provide coaching so you can continue the training.
The Coach at Home session includes detailed universal training guidelines on the issues you are facing and the associated training recommendations to support the advice and coaching provided.
Think you might need more than one session? Upgrade to the Coach at Home Plus package that includes a 60 minute follow up session.

Foundation dog obedience training

This class aims to give you a strong foundation of leadership and obedience skills that you can use in all facets of your dog’s life. We work with you to make sure you have the right training equipment for your dog to ensure safety and easy and effective communication.
What we cover:
Obedience training skills (sit, drop, look, stay)
Walking skills (loose lead, heel, safe road crossing)
Recall
Dealing with distractions;
Engaging with your dog;
Getting focus!
On lead, dog meet & greets;
Socialisation.
Each week you will learn a new game or skill and build on prior learning. We practise specific activities focused on dog to dog interaction to promote calm and relaxed behaviour and appropriate greetings. You will learn how to get and hold your dog’s attention around distractions and strategies to manage everyday scenarios.
We use proven obedience training techniques and training games to build lasting skills while also having fun.
This interactive class will help you to better manage your dog and improve your basic training and leadership skills.

Dog Walking Workshop
The Dog Walking Workshop delivers the essential skills for walking your dog.
What we cover:
How to walk on a loose lead;
Safe road crossing;
Dealing with distractions;
Engaging with your dog;
Getting focus!
On lead, dog meet & greets;
Socialisation.
This interactive workshop will teach you to manage your dog when out of the house so you are able to enjoy walking your dog. We work with you to make sure you have the right walking equipment for your dog to ensure safety and easy and effective communication.
Each session includes specific activities focused on dog to dog interaction to promote calm and relaxed behaviour and appropriate greetings. You will learn how to get and hold your dogs attention around distractions and strategies to manage everyday dog walking scenarios.
The walking workshop is suitable for dogs who pull on the lead, get excited or anxious around other dogs, are easily distracted and lose focus.
