It’s a great cocktail bar, however, my girlfriends and I were sat at a table in the outdoor area. For a large portion of the night we had this one security guard stand almost at our table, directly facing us. We asked him if everything was ok and he replied with he was “just doing his job”. It could have been unstandardised standing so close if he had a full view of other patrons, but he didn’t, his view was of us alone as the rest of the bar was covered by a large palm. If this wasn’t bad enough, one of my friends stood up and he asked if she needed to go to the toilet - which was a very creepy and strange thing to ask. My friend had gone to tell someone at the front about this security guard and a fight had broken out at the front. A fight that the security guard would have noticed or known about if he had been doing his job instead of standing at our table for half the night. More...

The music was ridiculously loud and we couldn't escape it anywhere as their were speakers everywhere! Even the young ones were complaining. We're accustomed to loud music when you go to a club, but this was seriously noise pollution! Otherwise great decor service ! It took me 10 days to get my voice back from shouting to be heard all night. More...

Fabulous venue! Their Events Manager really looked after us (actually all the staff were great) and stayed during our function to check in and make sure we always had everything we needed. Food was amazing. Would recommend!

Recently booked a table for my son's 21st birthday on 20th Feb. It was very disappointing - there was no table ready for us when we arrived, no greeting (we were left standing about at the entrance) and there seemed to be poor communication between management and staff regarding a cake that we had arranged to be delivered earlier. Having been assured there would be someone there, there wasn't so we had to cancel the delivery and deliver ourselves (this ended up being taken by the restaurant next door for safe keeping! Have worked in hospitality my whole life and I’m shocked by the treatment I received from the female “head of security”. She clearly hates her job and will go out of her way to abuse her position of power. She refused to call the manager when requested saying she was “the boss”. Had to contact the manager on facebook to be able to speak to him then she lied right in my face saying she never denied calling him in the first place. What a shame! We had our daughters 18th Birthday at Henry Summers on the weekend and the service from start to finish was extremely professional starting from Sarah the functions co ordinator who looked after us to the very end, the bar staff and bar manager and the security. Can not recommend this place highly enough for any function you have! And great food too More...
