I have just had the most helpful person Bobby G guiding me through what is the most complicated subject on the planet: tech! He was so incredibly helpful. I would never have been able to do anything without his help. In areas I could not sort things myself he sorted it for me. He basically did all my tech for me. I have never had anyone as helpful as him. He was not patronising and did not rush me. He made me feel at ease, was polite and remained calm through all of my- what must have seemed to him- ridiculous questions. I could not fault him at all. Terrible communication with the users. They think their shared hosting plans should be managed by the users the same way they running dedicated servers or AWS. I've been a FastComet's business client (with a dedicated server) for more than 2.5 years now. I have experienced before the service of the rest of the top 5 hosting providers out there. Without a shred of doubt, the FastComet team is the best, hands down! Their customer service should be seriously be taught to academic institutions. They simply succeed to grasp where many others fail the simple fact that the client needs to be treated primarily in a humane way and with respect and needs to feel confidence that the hosting provider has its back. Not once in more that 30 service tickets -simple or complicated- I've opened so far with FastComet have I felt that they won't deliver anything less than a perfect outcome! This is not a coincidence. VPS does not have backup service.. the backup service is using your existing space. have to pay 19.90 to do the backup without eating up your space :( This is something new that i never know about hosting

I have been with FastComet since 2017. They were recommended by a colleague, front-end web dev. I was happy with my last hosting, but my colleague sold me on how much better these guys were. Honestly, the platforms were not much different but I did get a discount first year around. Second year in 2018, I got increased a bit but still reasonable and shared hosting worked fine so I stayed. Third year in 2019 the prices remained the same and service was fine. This year, which would of been my fourth in 2020, I received a 115% invoice increase. An insanely outrageous increase, imho. They claim to be the best pricing, I beg to differ. While, I don’t want to mess with migrating/changing platform, I’m disgusted by the greed and how it’s being handled. 115% increase is not how you retain good customers who paid ya on time! I’m beyond disappointed with FastComet I’ve been a customer of yours for three years, but will be seizing my services seeing that your company has gotten greedy increasing my bill by 115% for “shared hosting.” When I call your customer support, which I could barely understand clearly, I’m then directed to an old blog post informing me of your pricing. If this is your idea of growth and customer retention by charging an insane increase of 115% and not having any explanation for such greed, you obviously don’t care about customers.
