Grand building and plumbing

These guys ripped me off. I had a blockage in storm water. They charged to look with their camera and they charged to dig up 1. 5 metres at a time. After the 1st dig $2100, they said it was still blocked and said it would cost a little more. Turns out $1000 is a little more....and they said on the invoice it was an additional 3m when the whole front lawn is only 3m. They had the digging machine there but stopped at this point. It was only 2pm and they stopped for the day and wanted to come back another day for another 1.5m. They refused to quote for the entire job. They just wanted to string me along and keep coming back 1.5m at a time. It would have cost me a fortune to complete the additional 16m. It is incredibly inefficient to dig up about one metre, replace the pipe, fill in the dirt and repeat for the next metre. They also marked the inspection point with a sewer cover. The next plumbers I hired quoted for the entire job, dug it all up in one go, replaced with the stronger 100mm pipe, finished in half a day and replaced the inspection point with a storm water cover with overflow protection.
