What do you love most about your job?
Helping our clients recognise what their vision of their perfect family dog looks like, and then educating them about what their dog needs to be successful.
Setting up a detailed plan, and then guiding them along the way to achieve that vision is the most satisfying part of the job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working with the polar bears at Sea World on the Gold Coast for the last 10 years and seeing the joy that their abilities created for the visitors, I wanted to help people realise that their family dog is capable of learning many things as well. So I started GC Dog Training in 2017.
Why should our clients choose you?
I understand that time is valuable to busy people, so I come to you for 1-on-1 training sessions in the home where many of the issues people are wanting to deal with start. From there we will work together and create a learning platform for both of us to guide your dog to be successful in practising good behaviour through training.
1-on-1 in home training session
We come to you and do the training session in your home in the environment where the issues are that you wish to focus on. We encourage buy in from clients so their presence is always beneficial to practising the implemented training plan in between sessions. We teach you how to train your dog!
In home puppy classes
For puppies aged 8-16 weeks we can come to you and teach you everything you need to know and do for your puppies early socialisation period. When the time comes to introduce your puppy to other dogs we can set up a meet and greet with other puppy training clients in your area, or your pup can meet out GC Dog Training dog Bagel.
Video call/Online training session
If you would like to have a remote training session (via zoom) then we can accomodate you.
