Very slow service!!! Menu on website is different to menu in restaurant, when asked about an item on the online menu was told “I should have rang and asked if the menu was correct. ” We then left after 40 minutes as no one had taken our food order! Will not return and will not recommend!!! More...

Attended Christmas in July for a three course set menu. My partner and I selected different dishes for each course and shared. All six dishes were fantastic. Beautiful flavor combinations and dish quantities that were just right. Atmosphere was wonderful and staff were very attentive and friendly. Everyone else seemed to be having a great time also. Santa’s visit was a highlight 🎅 We have dined at the previous restaurant and always liked it but this was a step above, yet reasonably priced. Thank you for a wonderful night guys. More...

I had the Mixed oysters for entree and my date had the calamari take on spag bog both were amazing 😍 for mains we had the dory and the blue eye accompanied by a goldrush cocktail and a cosmo it was the best fish I have ever had so many amazing flavours service was immaculate and the new bar area gave it so much more atmosphere Will be back

Following lunch with friends last Friday I was, unfortunately, the last to pay our split account. I was informed two desserts (& which ones ) were outstanding. Most friends had left so I paid intending to recoup from friends next time we met. After leaving the venue I checked with friends & realised I’d been charged for an extra dessert. I attempted to contact the venue three times that day & again the following morning, finally getting a phone call from a woman who said: “That’s what happens when you split the bill. Everyone says that and we get stuck with the difference. I’ll look into it but it’s going to be difficult because I’ll have to go through every order for that table. Will get back to you in a couple of days”. Nothing but silence since! I feel ignored & upset with the intimation I was not being truthful. This could have been managed so much better with more sympathetic, friendly customer service. This wasn’t the money so much as the principle! My friends and I will not return ( locals).
