Flash Farm

Flash Farm has been helping my son re-engage in life since last year and we are very grateful. Kristy deals with each client on an individual basis while running a group program, giving each time as well as promoting group cooperation and developing social skills in a flexible program. The days activities vary depending on weather and what needs to get done, and includes clients assisting with meal prep and eating a hot, healthy, real meal at lunch time. I look forward to hearing which animals my son interacted with each time he attends, the run down on the food and discovering what he likes or doesn’t - the fact he is even trying unknown food is a positive. I feel pleased that he has been developing new skills, and getting out of his shell and joining in one day a week, because there has been few successes in finding him the right place to engage. I’ve been on the farm for almost 3 years now, and I can wholeheartedly say it has been the best experience of my life, When I first started I was probably the most quiet kid there, and now I’m probably one of the loudest It has helped me in so many ways, and the friendships and bonds you can make there are amazing, I have woken up everyday excited to go, it’s taught me skills that I would have never learnt otherwise, I am now able to get public transport, it is the most friendly and welcoming environment that I personally have experienced, And I definitely recommend it
