Hi I'm Emily! I work as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at Plus Fitness Currumbine as well as being a mobile personal trainer . I am also a CrossFit Level 1 trainer. I specialise in strength training , circuit training , metabolic conditioning styled training as well as mobility training .

My husband and I have been training with Emily for over 3 months now. We both differ in our strengths and weaknesses. Emily, being the astute professional she is, has managed to give us both the individual attention and tailored workouts designed for our progress. We both have come far from where we started and we are pleased with the results. She is punctual, friendly and an uncompromising coach who is intent on making a change for better, for her clients. Personal Trainers

I actively help my clients set , long term goals aswell as setting plenty of short term goals along in their journey with me such as implementing small yet effective changes within their lives to help them create those healthy habits that will get them to reach their health and fitness goals (e.g build muscle, lose weight, live a healthier life, improve fitness ect;)

I actively record my client's progress which I find helps my clients stay motivated to achieve their goals.
Some ways I track my client's progress is :
-tracking client's weight
- inches lost
-more weight on the bar
- tracking stamina during exercise and Perceived Rates of Exertion
-mood and sleep improvements

Giving my clients modifications and progressions in workouts when needed AND PROVIDING VARIETY IN WORKOUTS to keep my clients motivated and engaged I think is very important when keeping a client interested in continuing to pursue their goals.

STRIVING FOR CONSISTENCY NOT PERFECTION ! Consistency is the one of the biggest keys to achieving your health + fitness goals (getting those 3-5 training sessions in EVERY SINGLE WEEK as a dedicated appointment to YOURSELF, and choosing to get a variety of nutritious foods in your diet everyday) However you are probably going to miss a workout at some point or sometimes choose to eat less nutritious foods, AND THAT IS OKAY ! BUT as long as you don't beat yourself up about not being perfect 24/7 and choose to get right back on track the next day to your healthy habits , overtime finding a healthy , active lifestyle that is SUSTAINABLE for you and your life not only help you in the long term get the body of your dreams but also improve your overall mental relationship with food and exercise as my aim for you is to strive for CONSISTENCY AND MODERATION when it comes to long term health and fitness and not a detrimental all or nothing approach .

I offer my personal training services at plus Fitness Currambine. I am also a mobile trainer / private pt so I can come to your home (I can bring pieces of equipment if needed ).

First initial consult - We will go through previous exercise and medical history and then discuss what exactly are your health and fitness goals,
for which I can use this information to build a personalised program for you to help you achieve these goals!

Basic Body stats such as weight and height can be taken in this session too (optional )

Consultation to discuss and /or reevaluate current goals , discuss nutrition for health and fitness goals and take body composition measurements (weight, height, blood pressure, tape measure , calipers )
