I honestly feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t have fiction at their wedding. Sally and the band were an absolute VIBE. I cannot tell you the amount of guests we had who have commented on them saying how incredible they were. And the guests didn’t even see the behind the scenes! From the very beginning and meeting - booking them on the spot at another wedding because I heard them once and couldn’t not have them, then the song choices, we gave them a few songs they didn’t know and they absolutely nailed every song. A band that can go from taylor swift love story to killing in the name of in the same breath AHHH… the genres, the voices, the band. PERFECT. I cannot recommend this incredible band highly enough! The guests were literally screaming "one more, one more, one more!" by the end of the night because of how epic they played every song ! The covers are classics that you'd absolutely want to hear at any and every function. The talent from the lead vocalists were second to none - they sang a range of belters *and* soft songs with ease! They have spectacular guitar and drum solos, harmonies, and the capacity to pull everyone up to the dancefloor instantly. Wow what a band! I honestly can't recommend Fiction enough. They played at our wedding on the weekend and they were amazing! They had everyone up on the dance floor (all 180 of them) all night!!!! What do you love most about your job?
We LOVE creating an amazing vibe. We are very passionate about getting to know our clients in the lead up to their events so that we can create the perfect personalised soundtrack.
We pride ourselves on having something to please everyone. We live and breathe this band. We feel very lucky that we get to do our favourite thing in the world as a job - and that we get to be a part of so many special occasions!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We love the feeling we get of performing - whether it is just us in a rehearsal space or its in front of thousands of people - the energy for us is still the same. We are doing what we love.
This is exactly the type of thing people should do for a living - so we made it a reality.
It's this that keeps us motivated to stay fresh and continuously improve and expand on what we offer.

YES! We have performed for a global online conference performance and had rave reviews.
We had our live performance recorded professionally and streamed worldwide.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We provide a wireless microphone at each event which is able to be utilised for speeches etc. This microphone is disinfected between uses at each event.
All equipment is cleaned between events.
We also carry a kit of disinfectant wipes, hand sanitiser and disinfectant spray as a standard to ensure we are able to keep ourselves and our equipment lean at all times during an event.
Live Music
We are currently available as a 2, 4 or 5 piece band - Our duo consists of Female vocals/ acoustic guitar, and a unique Cajon kit setup, our 4 piece band consists of Female vocals, with guitar, bass and drums.
As a 5 piece - we will also have a male vocalist.
With over 10 years performing professionally together, we have extensive experience and pride ourselves on having something to please everyone.
We will of course play ALL of the bangers, and will have your dance floor pumping.

Having worked in the wedding industry for over a decade, we KNOW what we are doing and are experts at getting the party started.
Our aim is to put you at ease - create the vibe, bring the energy and most importantly keep that dance floor pumping!
We will get to know you in the lead up to your wedding - so each and every wedding we do is different. There's no one size fits all - we will ensure that your day reflects you.

We offer Live Ceremony Music, Music for your Wedding Reception, and a professional MC service too.

Mirror Photo Booth
Elevate your event with our Mirror Photo Booth!
Our interactive photo booth allows your guests to take flawless, full length selfies to print on customised templates - a copy for your guest book and a copy to take home!!
Pick a filter, add emojis - the possibilities are literally endless.
Our beauty dish, flash and studio quality camera will take beautiful photos which can be sent straight to your guests via email or SMS.
You will then receive a link to a private gallery where you can access ALL of the photos from your event.
Our Mirror Photo Booth is available for hire with or without the band - however if you book Fiction as your entertainment - you will receive a 30% discount on photo booth hire!!! (Plus - no extra travel/set up costs, and one less supplier to deal with - how good!)
