Although we are NEW to BARK, Fast Start Home Loans and Business Finance was founded in early 2017 by our Managing Director and Senior Mortgage and Finance Broker, Adam Wilson.
Prior to opening the brokerage, Adam was Regional General Manager at Westpac and prior to that at Commonwealth Bank in a similar role.

What do you love most about your job?
Helping clients get the absolute best deal on their home loan - we NEVER automatically accept the lenders advertised rates - I negotiate on my client's behalf to achieve an optimal outcome where ever we can!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in senior roles within two of the big four banks and leading teams of personal lenders and branch staff, I always felt hamstrung with what rates we could provide to our customers and the lending policies we were constrained within. If you didn't fit the bank's 'guidelines' you didn't get the home loan. Being a broker opened up a whole new world of opportunities to help more customers and ultimately, get them a much better deal...and a number of my Bankers followed me!!
Why should our clients choose you?
Simply because - myself and my brokers actually CARE.
None of us at FAST START are here for a quick commission or fee - we want to build life long relationships with our clients . FAST START's success is driven purely from existing clients and trusted referral partners referring their family, friends and work colleagues to us because they TRUST us.. we treat our customers like family and we would NEVER recommend a product that would place our clients in a compromised financial position.
In fact, since we've been operating - we've not had one customer fall into significant arrears, let alone default on a loan repayment - that's because we don't take on everybody and we do take our responsible lending obligations VERY seriously. We will ALWAYS do our best to do right by you!

At FAST START HOME LOANS & BUSINESS FINANCE, we offer a fully remove service where we do not need to meet with clients face to face - however we are more than happy to if you live in the Greater Newcastle/Hunter Region, Sydney Region (as we have a number of existing customers in Sydney), Central Coast and Port Stephens Regions or other Regions by request.
Most client's prefer a fully on-line experience which we cater for REGARDLESS of where you live, anywhere across Australia.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Mask wearing at face to face visits if requested. We would NEVER visit a client if any of our Brokers are aware they have COVID. Dealing with us online, removes any COVID risks anyway.
Residential Home Loans
We find the best loan to suit your needs whether you are:

If you are looking to buy off the plan or are selling an existing home concurrently to purchasing another, we can arrange a deposit bond for you, so you do not have to use your own funds at exchange of contracts.
Our Deposit Bond providers generally can issue bonds within a couple of hours, subject to approval.
Referral to one of our Investment Builders
If you are looking to build either a home to live in or invest, we have a number of referral relationship with specialised wholesale (and retail) residential builders.
So if you are looking to build a single occupancy or dual key or duplex, our builders may be able to assist you. They also have many relationship with land developers and may be able to help locate a suitable area to invest in.
