RUINED BIRTHDAY SURPRISE Last night my surprise birthday party which my partner spent several months organizing was ruined. The second we walked through the door, without even having the chance to say a word, the DONKEY behind the bar yelled out to us “are you guys here for the surprise party”. My partner spent weeks organizing the surprise party not to mention the cost involved, only to have this incompetent spastic to ruin it. And after realizing this he went about his business like nothing happened, not even bothering to apologize or anything. His staff had to apologize on his behalf while he stood by like a statue, what an absolute JOKE. More...

Extremely disappointing when months of hard work and planning for a surprise 30th birthday party gets ruined at the very last second! As soon as we walked into the venue with the birthday boy, we hadn’t even had an opportunity to say we were there for a booking because the bartender yelled from behind the bar “Are you guys here for the surprise party”, not once but MULTIPLE times! We were even advised by Simone, the apparent event manager, that all the staff were aware of the surprise party and timing of arrival of the birthday boy, however the staff that greeted us were completely oblivious. This is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. There was no compensation given and it’s also a shame that man took no responsibility for his actions and the staff members serving us had to apologise on his behalf!
