What’s your interior design process?
Eleanor Design Studio offers a full range of services, so whether you need interior design, decorating, styling or renovation – or all of them
– the process always starts with an initial consultation. Our first meeting together allows Eleanor to understand the full scope of what is needed as well as assists you with understanding the full capabilities of the design practice. Whilst each job and client is unique, the consultation usually takes about 90 minutes.
Step 2:
PRELIMINARY PLAN SET, DESIGN BRIEF & CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
After your Initial Consultation, your Designer will start work on developing ideas and the overall concept for the project. Once the concept development has been completed, your Designer will meet with you to present and review their ideas and proposal for the overall project including materials, finishes, colours, images, mood and conceptual ideas, and high-level space planning and flow.
Step 3:
FINALISE THE DESIGN CONCEPT AND DESIGN SKETCHES & SOURCING
After the second meeting, your designer will modify the design concept based on your second meeting brief. If design sketches are required, we will then provide you with designs and plans, which are in line with your brief. This stage also includes the sourcing, selection and documentation of finishes, fixtures, furniture and finishing elements. This encompasses a large amount of the project but will essentially involve the selection of every item or element necessary to achieve the concept agreed upon in conjunction with the
budget and timing for the project.
Step 4:
MANAGEMENT OF SOURCING, QUOTING & SCHEDULING
With extensive experience within the industry, the team are well equipped to design spaces & re-design to ensure they are perfect. With a list of suppliers not only in Australia & worldwide, the team bring their very best suppliers to your project & ensure they fit your budget. They have a team of preferred reliable trades to offer or alternatively enjoy working with new.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved; it since I was 10 years old. I used to design my own room and design furniture since I was 13 years old. I always loved creating an atmosphere around me that is a reflection of who I am, I love interior design because it is a reflection of who you are.
Creating an atmosphere not only design. Our interior space is where life happens. Here at Eleanor Design Studio, we are excited about the opportunity to transform this space into your own unique story. I’ve always had a love of people and life for as long as I can remember. The design allows me to combine these passions to collaboratively bring interiors to life in meaningful ways for my clients.
I enjoy connecting with people on a personal level and discovering what is most important to them so that I can weave this into their individual design journey. Whether it is a special piece of furniture, a colour palette or a particular style, I am committed to incorporating this into the scope of our finished product.
