We had Dale come to our house for a training session with our new 9 week old puppy. I was blown away with how quickly our new pup responded. Dale tailored the session to our needs and spent time asking lots of questions about what we wanted. Our puppy responded very well and we now feel much more confident in raising our little boy. What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing families' lives changed because of simple changes that drastically alter their dog's behaviour and home dynamic. I always go above and beyond to deliver results for my clients who are often surprised by how straightforward and simple it can be.
I am passionate about educating others around dog well-being and hearing success stories makes it all worthwhile. I strongly believe that a solid foundation sets you up for a happy, healthy relationship with your furry friend.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been working with dogs for almost a decade with over 3,000 dogs trained and counting. I am proud to have founded Dale For Dogs in 2021 and hope to continue contributing to the dog community of Melbourne.
Dale For Dogs has been the product of hard work harnessing all the experience and knowledge I have gained over many years working and learning from some of the best in the industry. My training style is the product of years curating the best techniques to achieve the most effective and easy to apply methods.
Dog training
We offer one-on-one training at your home in your dog's own environment. We work with you and your family to address any issues you may have including:
• Toilet training
• Separation anxiety
• Socialisation
• Walking without pulling/distractions
• Basic obedience & commands
• How to stop biting, chewing, jumping, barking & other undesirable behaviours
• House and backyard safety
• General dog health & wellbeing
We tailor the session to your dog's breed, temperament, and living arrangements.
An in-home session also means we can provide you with valuable advice on backyard safety, apartment living, child safety, living with cats and other pets, senior family members, stairs, no-go zones, toileting, sleeping arrangements, and other factors that are informed by your household and living situation.

One puppy lesson in your home will set you up for life with a healthy well-behaved dog covering all the essentials from A-Z.
Your puppy’s first few months with you will be exciting and full of learning as you each grow accustomed to each other. This period is also the most important in shaping future behaviour and we recommend getting training started early on.
We specialise in puppyhood & adolescence and believe a strong foundation is crucial to preventing issues in adulthood.
We believe in preventing behavioural issues from occurring by setting up yourself for success through the right practices.
