This is definitely a must-do! I have gone snorkelling a few times now but the Hardy Reef is just magical - my Husband and I were on our honeymoon and all the staff were super friendly, were honestly so good during the trip and all thoroughly love what they do. We chose to do scuba diving as well; my husband has a unique form of Diabetes- which often will be a reason you are excluded from doing this - however being young, fit and having a drivers license they went above and beyond to ensure we were able to do it. The instructors took their time finding out about my Husbands situation and also called for backup to ensure we could do it. I am so glad we could! It was the most amazing experience - it is so worth paying the extra money for!! He also mentioned anyone who is in the “high risk” category eg diabetic, asthmatic, lung problems- to get a doctors note saying you are able. We are now thinking of getting our scuba licenses! I thoroughly recommend the Reef Sleep on the pontoon. From the beginning the crew on the fast cat were wonderful and cannot speak highly enough of the sleep over experience. If leaving from Airlie Beach don’t bother, 2 hours on the boat there, 2 hours on Whitehaven beach in which the kids couldn’t even get a paddle board to use and then 2 hours back on the boat. We had a group of 9 so cost was around $900 for what, a 4 hour boat ride and were told drinks were included on the way back well that didn’t happen! Save your money! More...

We would like to thank Whitsundays Cruises for our recent Reef Suite stay. Regardless of the unfortunate weather it was one of our most memorable moments on our road trip from Cairns to Brisbane. We did the Great Barrier Reef snorkelling experience with these guys and they were absolutely fantastic. We had two sea sick children and the staff were so accomodating and attentive. Cmon its a taxi service to daydream island and Hamilton .i paid goid money and lunch was an under cooked pork sausage and there was no catering for afternoon tea as there was none left after getting the second boat back . . what an absolute rip off ..please do not go on this company or google first . We had a fantastic experience today at Great Barrier Reef. We took the cruise to great barrier reef and took the snorkel safari. I am very impressed with the way everything is organised. The staff are lovely. The main reason I am writing this review is to highlight the dive team. We had Oscar and team guiding us today and they are the best. For anyone who is novice swimmer or someone with no swimming experience, these guys made it look like a piece of cake. Watching the corals in person was a wonderful experience. We did the full day trip to Daydream Island with lunch . Basically you get on any of the ferry’s going to Daydream , have free time on the island to explore and then return on any ferry . We got the lunch package and I would highly recommend this as it was amazing . 2 courses of so much food we took the leftovers home for dinner . Daydream is a good size island that you can easily explore in a day . With rainforest walk , living reef , day area pools and hire of canoes ect . Communication was not excellent ( but it was ok) but I think that’s because it’s a new trip operated as Daydream only opened up again recently. I would recommend this trip . More...

We visited Reef World this week. My almost 15 year olds did the Intro to Scuba Diving and loved it. They were both really anxious but the staff who took them out looked after them well. Haylee was so good with my son Jonny. I'm not sure who the guy was who was with my daughter Genevieve but he was also great. On our return trip the sea was really rough. Unfortunately my daughter was sick many times (as were quite a few others). The staff were AMAZING! Thank you to Dave and the crew for looking after everyone without fuss.
