A need for counselling in the community that is affordable and has availability.

My clients get results because I have a relaxed, open and welcoming style. Are you confused about what you would be seeking in counselling? No problem. I'm always happy to have a chat on the phone can give you clarity around what you are seeking.

Yes I can. If you are working full time or a parent to a young child, you may find it hard to schedule an appointment. When you factor in travelling time it can feel way too hard. Let's chat about your needs and what works best for you time wise.

The experiences that come with a relationship break down can be upsetting, confusing, frustrating and/or frightening. As a couple, your emotions can be very different, mixed and at times overwhelming. When a relationship breaks down it can be one of the most difficult, confusing and loneliest times for both of you. One or both of you may be experiencing amongst other things, a lack of control or ability to move forward from a world of overwhelming emotion.

If your relationships is in the midst of this emotional struggle I can provide you with a safe place to work together through your emotions and the anger or frustration you may be experiencing. The support I offer and the work we can do together can help to bring understanding to self and each other while working to strengthen your relationship during this time, and in the future. It will also support you to find clarity amid the chaos. I specialise in providing counselling and mentoring to couples in crisis as well as individuals. The way I approach my work is to connect uniquely with each individual and who they are as well as who they are to each other within their relationship,. This assists each person in a way that is unique to them while still maintaining a relational focus. I will be seeking to support each person to communicate about their challenges and concerns in a way that they feel safe, understood and included throughout each session.

There is always hope. If things don't feel right, seek help.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Why choose me to support you during your separation or divorce?

Very simply, because I have been there! Having journeyed through my own separation and subsequent divorce, I now specialise in providing counselling and mentoring to families in crisis, particularly related to separation and divorce. When difficult times are experienced within a family, all members of the family are impacted. How each member is impacted will depend on their age, life experiences and ability to cope. I know this first hand having faced the crisis of a breakdown within my own family.

Support during this time, for myself, my ex-partner and our three children was instrumental in allowing transition through what was a difficult and highly emotional time of our life. Non-judgmental, unbiased counselling support allowed honesty and release. This has enabled each of us to move into a positive space and become the people we are today.

Counselling is a process of talking about and working through your concerns and personal problems - the things that keep you up at night!

No matter where you are in your relationship it is important to acknowledge that all relationships experience challenges, some are minor but others have a huge impact. You may feel as though the conflict in your relationship is being blamed on you. There may be anger toward unrealistic expectations. Or you may just not know where things have gone wrong. It can be easy to become overwhelmed and to begin to feel hopeless when you are in this situation.

Need a plan? Give me a call. I can support you to quickly uncover the real issues and work with you to find solutions that give you a workable plan and a way forward.

Counselling is a process of talking about and working through your personal problems. I aim to counsel both the heart and mind as a support for you to reach a place of integrity, giving you the opportunity to live a full and complete life.

If you are neurodivergent, you may have found it difficult to find someone to work with who truly understands your unique needs without neurotypical judgements and expectations. My work as a counsellor combined with my understanding and lived experience of neurodiversity supports me to help my clients grow and thrive in life.

How do I do this? Quite simply by immersing myself in my client. I work with my client to identify their needs and then support those needs in an environment that accepts differences and is conducive to the success of each individual client based on who they are and what they are seeking.

Depending on your concern, our work together will be based on the understanding that neuro diverse conditions are not problems which need to be solved or cured, but rather they come with many different strengths, needs and challenges which are unique to the individual.

I can help you work with different skills to gain greater understanding of who you are to allow you to break down your anxieties, and move to a place where you feel comfortable in your own skin; able to embrace the unique strengths and abilities you have!
