the paua i know its expensive but for $13.50 for 4-5 spoon mouth fools is outrageous with a fry bread. I get more paua in a big frybread for $8 at Tees takeaways waterford nd I highly recommend them. thanks must try them out.

Two words can describe this hidden gem; TU MEKE! Indulged in the Hangi & Steam pudding, Upon the delivery of my meal it immediately took me back to the land of the long white cloud, it was packed full, fried bread had a crunchy outside with a warm centre, the pork was fall off the bone, Steam pudding with custard/Ice cream was a true winner to end it. Always love to tautoko our people and their businesses. Customer service was brilliant. Presentation and quantity of kai was on point, Unfortunately majority of our kai we ordered was cold, tasted good but it was cold. Been a new business and first time dining i didn't feel the need to mention it first time round as it was busy and I understand working in fast food, time management can get the better of you. Always up to support and try out local businesses but unfortunately in this case we found them subpar. Hour long wait for our food which we found average at best. We bought Hangi's, 2 Cream paua, bro burger meal, kids cheeseburger meals and kids nugget meal. Chips not fully cooked as well as the burger patties. Cream Paua lacking Paua and size esp for the price. Hangi were bland could do with seasoning. Somewhat disappointed as they do have good reviews. Had the biggest feed, I literally rolled out the door. Had the boil up, fried bread, mussel chowder, and brought mates with me and I decided to try their Kina and raw fish. Yummmmmm delish. Didn’t stop their though, had to wash it down with a big fat hot chocolate. I am a regular cause that’s the only place where I don’t need to keep looking for food to full me up. Beautiful food and beautiful people/customer service Everyone was so friendly and helpful and my whole family was impressed with their food. We ordered 10+ different meals and 10+ different drinks and they all were perfect and didn’t have to wait long at all.
