My name is Ojo, I am originally from Nigeria, and I am an Australian citizen by choice. I previously lived and studied in Singapore, Malaysia and the Netherlands.

What do you love most about your job?
I am passionate about the rule of law and fairness, justice and equality. Immigration is just part of this mix. The fact that I am from a migrant background and helping others with similar experiences makes it worthwhile. I believe that we are all immigrants, and I say this with confidence.
There is no doubt that aspects of the migration work and experiences can be frustrating with the migration act and rules changing so frequently, but because of my love for this area of law, everything else comes naturally.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The inspiration came during law school. I completed a Business degree and was unemployed; others continued to inform me that it was so difficult to land a job after graduation, even from law school. I was eager to be independent and wanted to control my future. As they say - Entrepreneurs are driven with the need to succeed and control their own destiny.
So, I anticipated that I would choose an area of law that I was passionate in and that I will eventually thrive. I registered the consulting business, but it was inactive for a while as most of my work was pro bono and providing colleagues with free services.
The passion for helping others get the solutions they need and still being in control is always a good feeling.
Why should our clients choose you?
In my view as a client, I would choose an agent that would have time for me and my case. I am the type of agent that has a broad understanding of the Australian Migration Act, and I have a personal experience with the immigration laws in Australia.
Clients should choose me because I am just like them; I have walked the same road and can provide them with solutions as a former immigrant myself. Besides, my understanding of Australian Immigration laws is not just from an educational perspective, but I have lived it and experience different immigration issues in multiple countries.
