Super impressed with our first visit to Cajo. The interior suggests casual dining but the food and presentation were definitely more of a fine dining stardard, just with bigger portion sizes. The choices are what I would have expected to pay twice the price for elsewhere, this restaurant has certainly secured themselves a world class chef and managed to drop them into Palmerston somehow. Great table service and very little wait time made the experience even better. We will definitely be happy to make the drive from the city to eat here again. Thank you Cajo. More...

All I can say is 🤩 WOW. Best beef cheeks I ever had. Melt in your mouth, juicy, flavourful and it is so good that I did not want it to end.
I just want to eat it all day.
My wife and I had dinner and brunch in this restaurant. For first impressions, yes the place is small and could get smokey when busy, but man, the food surpasses the negatives way over as well as the service!
Definitely recommend this place. No doubt they will reach great heights. Great job Cajo 😃
