I'm not your stereotypical interior designer. I have the same skills and contacts, but I'm friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to. I also know that the majority of people don't have a limitless budget for their projects.

What’s your interior design process?
I can adapt to your preference, but prefer to view the property myself to get a feel for the space. It is helpful if you have a Pinterest board or some photos of rooms you like.
If we are altering a floorpan or doing a whole home makeover, I will ask you to answer some questions about your lifestyle and how you live and use the space. If your home is not working for you in the way you would like, I will try to find solutions for you if you want to avoid moving house.
I will then come back with a plan and ideas so you can visually see the options for your space.
My first consultation is free, especially if you are nervous about hiring a designer for the first time.
But if you just want to get moving quickly on a project we can talk about the best approach for you.
I can be as little or as much involved as you like.
I have package deals and set rates so you know exactly how much it costs before you commit to anything.
I believe the biggest fear people have with interior designers is the unknown cost and process.
I am very transparent and up front with you, and will find a solution and payment plan tailored to you.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I have a certificate of interior design, so I know how to design any style you prefer.
Even if you don't know what your style is, I can use questionnaires and photos to help determine your style.
I like to use visual tricks to make a small space feel more spacious or to make the most of its features.
I am personally more drawn to modern or midcentury style with natural warm textures and use of greenery as accents.
But I also love the crisp contrast in a Hamptons style home or a very modern minimalist look.
I also appreciate the beauty of a heritage house and the importance of staying true to its history whilst bringing discreet modern touches to appeal to a broader market.
What do you love most about your job?
I love using the creative part of my brain and I get so much joy making interior design achievable for everyone.
I have been practicing on all my family and friends whilst I studied initially, but now I am looking forward to bringing my design ideas to a wider range of people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I accidentally became an interior designer during Covid. As a nurse, I was looking for a distraction during covid. I initially signed up to a certificate of interior design to complete for my own personal reward.
Armed with my new knowledge and skills I helped lots of friends and family with projects. But as I saw their projects come to life, it helped me to see that I genuinely had the skills it took to be a successful designer. Now I have trouble finding enough time to do my nursing shifts!

I will make the process easy for you. Hiring a designer is not as overwhelming as it seems.
I can help you discover your own style and I won't tell you to buy things you don't like to meet my style!
Together we can make your space the best it can be!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am happy to wear a mask to visit you, or use face-time to help get an idea of your requirements remotely.
As a nurse I know infection prevention all too well!

I can help improve it and inject more style with soft furnishings and accessories.
I can slso advise or puchase of new furniture for your room.
Colour consultancy
Help choosing internal or external colours for your home or new build.
I can also help choose other finishes such as cabinetry flooring and / or curtains to make the final result look amazing!
Room makeovers
I do package deals where I will personalise & makeover a room. I can use some of your existing furnishings or start from scratch.
