Youthtown Panmure had the privilege to have Andy Wonder and what a show it was! He is a very talented magician and always interacting with his audience. Alongside with his assistant Alison, (apologies if I have spelt the name wrong) the atmosphere they are able to create is amazing! How long have you been interested in magic?
Since my childhood. I remember seeing a magic show at a friends birthday party when I was 6 years old. It made me feel so hopeful about the what was possible in life and I still remember those feelings now. Since then I've performed magic at over 3,000 kids' parties.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
We all possess hidden abilities and often astonish ourselves with our capabilities. I love highlighting this through interactive elements in my magic performances. Being part of a magic show might unveil a latent talent or offer the joy of eliciting laughter from a crowd, perhaps for the very first time.
What do you love most about your job?
Bringing people of all ages together to share laughter and awe is what truly resonates with me. There's an undeniable charm in the classic variety entertainment that families can relish as one. It's a unique experience not as prevalent in today's compartmentalised entertainment landscape.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I simply just believe in doing what you love and following your passion. Being a magician is a vocation.
