Independently owned, Andep believes it is important to help people take control of their finances, set the right financial strategy and select investments suitable for the long term but not important to provide ongoing services which are of little value to clients with well designed and executed strategies.

Andep pioneered fee (rather than commission) based investment advice in Western Australia in 1982 and was one of the first three practices to offer this in Australia.

While prepared to review client’s affairs on request, we do not offer an ongoing review and monitoring service as this as “over servicing”.

Typically, we charge between $500 and $700 for an initial appointment at the end of which we provide a quote for a full report (generally an additional $1,000 to $2,00) if required by the client. Most clients do not require the full report.

The Commonwealth Corporations Act forbids us giving detailed personal* advice unless in a written Statement of Advice (SOA), which is costly and not always needed, so we first give verbal general* advice and only proceed to written personal* advice through a SOA on your instructions.

Our normal process is that
> We ask potential clients to complete as much as is necessary of the form at https://www.andep.com.au/client-appreciation-form/,
> We consider the supplied information before meeting the client(s),
> We meet the client(s) and discuss their situation and explain options in general* terms,
> At the end of the discussion, we offer an all inclusive price to prepare a full or restricted (to some topics) SOA containing personal* advice,
> After the discussion we prepare and send a brief memorandum of the discussion,
> If requested we complete the SOA,
> If we are not asked to prepare a SOA , we issue an invoice for the initial consideration, meeting and memorandum writing but
> If you believe you have gained nothing from the process, all fees are waived.

*Personal and general advice are defined in the Act.
