What do you love most about your job?

What I love from this job is to create great values for my clients & relief them from compliance distress. They are working very hard and should not be bothered by these things. My clients always feel secure because they know I am there to assist them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I want to serve clients better with the proper pricing. I disagreed with my former supervisor about how we should treat clients. Business owners & accountants should be partners rather than the only fee-charged relationship. Of course, working in the accounting field, we are bound by the accounting framework & code of ethics and can't always follow the client's direction. But we still can do the right things & support our clients at their best interest lawfully at the same time. I want to change the impression that when the client needs help, they don't hesitate to call me. They don't need to worry about "How much will I be charged", "Will their advice worth my money?" and they will be able to make an informative decision.

Why should our clients choose you?

Because I am highly skilled at what I am providing, I used to clean up multiple HUGE files with highly-complicated entries & make my client's book great again. I can also do that for you.
What I normally see is, many small & micro businesses pick up an underrated bookkeeper/clients (so-called "affordable") due to their tight budget. It would be OK if their business remains the same after several years running (Less likely). After about 3-5 years, when the business is expanding and growing, they realise that their book has lots of issues, the 3rd-party tax accountant/consultant refuses to do the tax returns due to poor records. I used to take over these clients and make a great change, but they ended up paying double or triple than the cost they would pay if they pick a good accountant/bookkeeper in the first place. The cleanup work does normally cost much more than the data entry & lodging your business activity statements correctly from the beginning. And every year, you should get the accountant to review your entire book, adjust whatever it requires before lodging your income tax return. In various circumstances, I have seen a company must amend its tax return(s) because their file was not reconciled before calculating their tax obligations. (Not to mention the ATO General Interest Charges keep accruing in the meantime).
