What do you love most about your job?
Jason: I love helping business owners make their lives easier. Start-ups and large companies have extensive, established funding and support networks, but for medium sized business owners, there aren't many - which is pretty crazy considering they make up over 90% of all businesses out there.
Over the last 5 years, we've built a team of skilled problem solvers, and a partner network of other boutique firms with niche areas of expertise, so these business owners can access the help they need, affordably, through one channel. I think that's pretty great.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years in industry across all sizes of business, I realised most businesses struggle with defining and optimising their business processes - and it's particularly damaging for small and medium sized businesses. This is because they've got nowhere to hide; start-ups aren't supposed to have this figured out yet, and large companies can hide their inefficiencies because they have the funding, staff, and scale to do so.
I realised that with my qualifications and experience, I was uniquely positioned to help - so I started Untap, and the rest is history.
