Apalling company. Paid $697.00 as deposit on 29th November 2024. Applied for solar panels loan, got the approval in a week or so.
Then Applied for the solar Battery Loan, and got the approval on 6th January 2025 for the battery.
Now these guys have been delaying me again and again. Telling me all kinds of stories like we can't see the approval, we transfered it to installation team, we did this we did that. Finally they are calling after 14 days, on 20 January asking another 700$ to bring a scissor lift, just because they think they can't do it without. I have given them over 50 photos, 2 video files, more than three different times, starting from 29 November 2024 until 20 January 2025. Now says they can't install. Unbelievable.
SCAMMER COMPANY, NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, AND DO NOT LET ANYONE IN YOUR SPHERE OF INFLUENCE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
I even recorded their voice over phone conversations to identify and document their bullshit. And they still can't do the only shit they are supposed to do.
I asked for a full refund. Now they say they can't give the refund since it has been more than 2 months??? UNBELIEVABLE. SUCH A SCAM. I'M GOING TO SUBMIT REPORTS TO CONSUMER PROTECTION. WILL TAKE A FEW MONTHS, BUT LETS SEE IF THIS WILL TEACH THEM A LESSON THAT THIS IS NOT INDIA.

The process began following the installation of Powerpal which directed me to Solar Emporium as a recommended solar provider. Following a phone call with their sales consultant, the process and professional advice provided was great, but from there on, the experience quicky eroded.... Upon making a deposit, and the expectation of a 2-3 week commencement once deposit was received, this 2-3 weeks quickly turned in to several months of delays and the occasional phone call to say they were on top of things. Lucky it was winter so I wasn't too concerned. The products offered and used were first class and I am very happy with this part of the contract. I believe the quote supplied was full of 'possible issues' to capture what site problems which may occur once installation starts, but once the works were complete, there was no amendment to the overall cost to reduce or add as required from the actual involved works. I have a steep roof which I paid additional fees to allow for this but there was no refund following the decision to move the panels to another 'less steep' location. The installers were great apart from significant damage to the roof sheets which has been swept under the mat by Solar Emporium (I did mention this damage to them for resolution) To provide my thoughts - I think there are better solar companies out there. 2 stars More...

Great Experience with Solar Emporium! Dealt initially with Dan but then got passed onto Will and I have to say what a team. Had some issues with our SolarVic application and then with the waterproofing of our roof, the team was super patient and keen to get our solar installed. I recently worked with Solar Emporium to install solar panels on my daughter and son in laws home. I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with their service, products, and especially the outstanding sales representative, William! I went out and got about 7 quotes and gave him a tough time but even though they weren't the cheapest from the very first call it was evident that Solar Emporium was going to be highly professional and customer-oriented. William was incredibly knowledgeable about solar energy and took the time to patiently answer all my questions. He actually took the time explaining how solar panels could save my daughter and son in law money in the long run, explained the products and where I should spend the money (on the inverter)! Once I made the decision to move forward with the installation, William coordinated everything seamlessly with the team and Chantelle from customer service was also a huge help. Will kept me informed throughout the entire process, from booking site inspections and the installation to ensuring the paperwork and grid connections were done. We did have a few hiccups along the way, mainly with the location of the inverter as there was a change in where we wanted it after the site inspection - this required a shade awning to be placed there, they gave us the option of purchasing one but we opted for getting our own. The solar panels are now up and running and I’m really happy. I would definitely recommend Solar Emporium to anyone considering solar for their home. If you have the opportunity to work with William, you're in for great service and support.. His professionalism, knowledge, and friendly approach made the entire experience a pleasure. We couldn’t commit to anything at that time as we were welcoming our second child into the world. Daniel was really lovely and stayed true to his word and contacted us towards the end of Jan’23. We had a lot of questions and Daniel was able to answer every single one with ease. Anything he wasn’t sure on, he‘d seek calcification and got back to us as soon as he could.
