Wow where do you begin. Rob was a professional from the moment we made contact right through the process of marrying our daughter and now husband. Rob was kind, friendly, warm and welcoming of all family and cultures. Our daughter chose to have a micro wedding with 10 guests at Lovewell Cafe Mount Gravatt lookout. Being married to Rob for 36 years gives me a unique angle to give a review as I have been at most of the weddings that he has officiated at. So as a onlooker I see how he puts the groom and his men at ease as they wait patiently for the bride. He not only fulfills the role of celebrant but also MC making the whole ceremony have a unhurried flow and he does it all with a smile and sophistication. I love the way he pauses as when the bride reaches the groom and just allows that beautiful moment to hold In time. What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that I get to help people enjoy, have fun and look back on their wedding day with absolute pleasure. The journey of taking couple’s through the legal aspects of getting married through to the wedding ceremony and beyond is just a total privilege and joy… one I never take for granted. With over 100 weddings under my belt, my enthusiasm has only grown.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I officiated at many weddings and people kept coming up to me and telling me that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to. I stepped back from my job, took the plunge and started my business. I am currently at 70 weddings booked this year.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a huge experience of working with every type of couple and personality. I know my job. I bring a calm and ease to the process. I am as involved with you as much as you want me to be. I bring a humour, peace and dignity to your wedding ceremony and yet the ceremony always reflects you as a couple. Many celebrants are doing this job for extra cash to supplement their real estate/lawyer/IT job… not me I do this full time, totally love it and it shows. You can get a $450 celebrant, you’ll always get cheaper but you won’t get the best.
MC at reception
MC for the reception?
I have years of experience in public speaking, hosting events and mc work. Hiring me to host your reception can save you from that slightly awkward friend or family member who hijacks the reception. I keep things light, moving forward and bring a friendly, warm, fun vibe that keeps everyone engaged and happy. Ask me for my rates… remember I’m already at your ceremony so you’ve already saved on travel costs to bring another MC in.

I can help you lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage form and write a letter to the Dept of Immigration on your behalf confirming that you are a couple once we have had an interview together - hit me up for my rates.
