I have been tutored in English advanced, physics, and mathematics up to extension 2 and it is extremely helpful. I have had issues with some tutors that didn't match my learning style and the owners at JDN tuition immediately replaced them with no further discussion, they really put the students first which is very comforting. The tutors are extremely enthusiastic and helpful, especially Thomas Liao who both helps me stay engaged in lessons while helping me go over content I have already learnt as well as content I am yet to learn. We engaged JDN for Year 11 Physics and Chemistry. The tutor Mak was excellent and was very capable and responsive to difficult questions. The only thing I’d tweak is that sometimes booking reschedules got a bit messy (less than 24 h notice) as my son has a lot of other commitments. As a mature student returning to uni after a decade, I thought my stats course would crush me. I found JDN’s adult-learning program, and my tutor literally rewrote the way I approach data. We started every session with a real-world dataset, like local council budgets, so I understood why distributions matter. Step by step, we built my confidence: Week 1 was descriptive stats, Week 2 was probability theory, Weeks 3–4 were hypothesis testing, and so on. She provided R scripts I could reuse for assignments and even recorded mini-tutorials for when I felt stuck late at night.
