We have been attending sessions at FuntoSwim as part of our water safety education SwimHer. Mehdi is so knowledgeable and he explains physics behind every technique. I did attended more than 10 classes before in other places and I couldn’t even float without kick board. With Mehdi’s lessons within 5 classes I can now float and move in the water without any fear. A very good team who are very aware of our child's progress, his comfort level with the water and gives out good cues to get him to meet the objectives. The team are attentive and patient. Absolutely love this swim school! The therapeutic pool is a fantastic feature and is always a lovely warm temperature, perfect for babies, toddlers, and young children. The environment is calm and intimate, and classes are never overcrowded with lots of children in one lesson. I also really appreciate the private shower rooms, which make getting changed stress-free and unhurried. The instructors are wonderfully patient and bring great structure and care to every lesson. Mehdi is the most patient, caring but also passionate swimmer instructor. He taught my 2 year old about 2 months ago, he went from screaming as he touched the water to blowing bubbles, going underwater and paddling. I put my 6 year old in the intensive holiday program as well, we returned from last year and I’m pleased to see she has improved as well. There is low commitment (short time to inform them if you want to cancel classes), and make up lessons expire in 2 months which is more generous than other swim schools. We've been attending lessons for three months now, and since my son is an anxious boy, I wasn’t sure how he’d go. But thanks to Amy and Mehdi, who make the lessons fun and safe, he absolutely loves going! He still gets nervous at times, but he’s now practicing breathing and even going underwater. He’s slowly gaining confidence, enjoying himself, and seems to feel a real sense of achievement. Seeing how much he enjoys it gives me peace of mind, and I’m really happy with how the instructors build the kids' confidence while prioritising safety. My daughter just had her first swim lesson here and she had a great time. Her instructor, Amy, was amazing. Amy was very engaging and full of energy. She made the lesson really fun and exciting for a 5 year old. My daughter immediately told me she wants to come back again. I’m very happy with the lesson and the service here. This swim centre is one purpose built pool located in the basement of North Ryde RSL. They offer small group classes which is usually 3-5 kids total and the staff are all great with kids. Whilst it lacks the bells and whistles of some other swim schools in terms of fancy facilities it has everything needed and our daughter has thrived here after being traumatised by her experience at a different swim school that was pushing too quickly.
