Empowering Excellence operates at the intersection of executive judgement, the psychology of decision-making, and organisational consequence.
I work with senior executives and leadership teams in complex, high-consequence environments where decision quality directly shapes performance, accountability, and risk.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kat as an NLP coach, and I genuinely can’t recommend her highly enough. She brings a rare combination of deep sensitivity, empathy and insight, creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard and understood. What really sets Kat apart is her ability to balance this emotional intelligence with strong business acumen. She understands not only the inner work required for meaningful change, but also how that translates into clarity, confidence and aligned action in a professional context. Kat’s approach is thoughtful, grounded and incredibly effective. She asks the right questions, challenges gently yet powerfully, and supports lasting shifts rather than surface-level fixes. Working with her has been both personally and professionally transformative. More...

What do you love most about your job?
What I value most is working with people who carry responsibility.
Senior leaders often operate in environments where the consequences of decisions affect teams, organisations, and sometimes entire systems. Being able to create a confidential space where they can think clearly, challenge assumptions, and sharpen their judgement is deeply meaningful work.
I enjoy helping leaders slow down the noise, see situations from different perspectives, and move forward with decisions that they can stand behind with confidence.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After more than 15 years working across aviation, financial services, and higher education, I saw how often leaders were expected to make complex decisions without a structured space to think.
Many senior people are surrounded by stakeholders, expectations, and pressure, but very few places where they can examine difficult choices honestly.
Starting my own advisory and coaching practice allowed me to focus directly on that need — helping executives strengthen decision integrity, manage complexity, and lead with clarity when the stakes are high.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients often choose to work with me because of the combination of practical leadership experience and deep psychological insight.
My work sits at the intersection of executive judgement and human behaviour. I help leaders examine the thinking patterns, pressures, and organisational dynamics that influence decisions, particularly in high-consequence environments.
With experience across regulated sectors such as aviation and financial services, I understand the realities leaders face when performance, accountability, and risk are closely connected.
Clients value the discretion, clarity, and structured thinking I bring to complex situations.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. Most sessions are delivered online via secure video conferencing, which allows clients to access support regardless of location.
I work with leaders across Australia and internationally. Online sessions are structured, confidential, and designed to be highly focused so executives can address real decisions and challenges efficiently.
For organisations or teams, sessions and workshops can also be delivered remotely or in person, depending on requirements.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Most client work is delivered online, which provides flexibility and ensures safety.
For any in-person engagements, I follow current public health guidance and can adapt delivery formats to suit organisational requirements.
Remote delivery has proven highly effective, allowing leaders to access support without travel or disruption to their schedules.
