Davies Music School

I was inspired to start my own business out of a genuine passion for music and teaching. I wanted to create a space where students feel supported, encouraged, and confident to learn at their own pace. Building a music school allowed me to share that passion while creating a positive community where education, creativity, and personal growth come first.

We are a child-friendly music school with experienced teachers who are passionate about helping students succeed. Whether you are preparing for music exams or simply want to learn how to play your instrument well, we provide a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

We teach all styles and genres of music, including Rock, Pop, Gospel, Jazz, and Classical, allowing students to explore and develop their own musical interests.

Our teachers hold recognised qualifications such as Bachelor degrees in Music, LMusA, Diploma of Music, and A.Mus.A, along with valuable industry experience. What began with just one student has grown to over 400 students in a short period of time — a reflection of the trust families place in us.

We occasionally offer Zoom lessons when needed; however, our preference is face-to-face lessons at our business premises. In-person lessons allow us to provide the best learning experience through hands-on guidance, real-time feedback, and stronger teacher–student interaction, while still offering flexibility when required.

To keep our students, families, and staff safe, we have implemented clear and practical COVID-19 safety measures in line with health guidelines. These include enhanced cleaning and hygiene practices across all teaching spaces, regular sanitisation of instruments and high-touch surfaces, and the availability of hand sanitiser throughout the studio.

We encourage anyone who is unwell to stay home, and teachers follow strict hygiene protocols to help minimise risk.
