The Friendly Plant (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2006 by Craig de Necker, an internationally recognized, award-winning landscape designer based in Johannesburg.
Today, we serve clients throughout South Africa as well as 15 other countries.
Although we design and install landscapes of all types, our main focus is residential gardens and designer outdoor spaces.

Once our design was completed, they invited us out to their plant farm where they provided a 3D walkthrough of the constructed areas on a big screen.
They also showed us a physical display of the different plants that they used in our design.
This made it very easy for us to visualise the garden before proceeding with installation. We were very chuffed with their approach and would gladly make use of their services in the future.

They offer a turnkey service from the initial garden design (including constructed feature spaces) through to the installation of the finished product.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We take staff temperatures on a daily basis before the work day starts
Each staff member is issued with their own sanitiser bottle - these are re-filled as they are used
Each staff member is issued with face masks
