How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most of the time when a garage or existing building has been approved by the local municipality. Then its easy to create a conversion of the garage. But if you want to build another storey above your existing garage a total new structural approval process needs to happen for the structure to built according the national building regulations.

The local municipality is the most important because every district has different rules. Then its the construction regulators like the nhbrc and various other bodies. As soon as the building plans is approved then the contractor can start to procure materials and start to build or alter a structure with the aid of a local building inspector.

Depending most on the pitch of the roof and the use for the loft.

First it will be to change the structural wood system inside the roof to make it suitable to carry the load of the roof and also to make the roof structure stronger to carry an additional load.

As a upcoming engineer. What I like about my job is when we are able to transfer the architect plans to the ground to the exact specification just like the client wants. What I love about building a civil work. We improve peoples lives indirectly by rendering services.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was a young boy. I grew up working with my dad and family in construction. When I was around 14 I decided that I want to be a civil engineer and have my own civil engineering and building company and I worked all my life to do what I am doing now civil engineering and building construction.

We are open to the clients. Our task is to make our clients dreams comes true within the building and civil space. The clients should choose us because we will guide them to do what they want to do within the building regulations. We have a track record and we are open to new business. Big or small.

Not really because we are contractors. We can only do estimation and preparatory works online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Trying to get more private client because the public and government has not been spending too much on public construction tenders. Now we looking at new markets.

We do alterations on houses. We build new houses from the ground. We do maintenance of building eg. Painting, roofing and waterproofing.
We do interior work as drywalling and various other relared building trades.
Civil engineering
We do construction of road ways and drive ways. We do under ground piping and bulk earth works including bulk water.
We do water management on large areas and small areas. We do maintenance on all civil engineering infrastructure.
