The pizza was nice, I don't know about the ribs as there was not enough, so along with many others we didn't get to try them, It was my daughter's wedding and I was disappointed by many aspects of the catering expectations. They didn't seem to think it was a big deal they were late, or that there was not enough ribs and ribs were the main thing they had wanted with pizza and salad back up to fed everyone dinner. Ran out of their 3 choices of salad, one of which was changed the day before which was agreed to by us at short notice as well. We had added stuffed potatos, corn on the cob and 2 salads to feed everyone as a safe guard just incase so not sure how many people wouldn't have been fed if we hadn't. Also ordered the option of plates and cutlery at $1 per person expecting proper plates and received plastic ones, this was not clear and for a wedding we would have got elsewhere. On quering on the night they just said other functions were happy with the amount of food, not sure I cared about other functions at this stage. We had to pay a large deposit on booking and pay in full before receiving product so have no comeback when unsatisfied that all products agreed on were not received. I tried to meet to discuss all aspects proir to wedding to avoid any miscommunication but they wouldn't they just wanted all monies paid to proceed. They may be ok for small function but not 100pax, I am a chef of many years, had my own restaurant for 10 years and have catered many functions so I thought maybe I was judging too hard but I know you should get what you pay for and have reasonable answers for anything not received to standard. The biggest challenge was I tried to discussed with them the issues but they didn't understand that I was disappointed or how let down I felt. Just don't want this to happen to anyone else. More...
