The Moving Squad NZ

Had a terrible experience with them. Careless movers damaged a lot of our furniture (deep scratches down wooden furniture, torn mattress, paint scraped of the sides of metal cabinets etc), and our new house, plus inadequate ventilation in their storage facility (a shipping container in a yard) meant that a fair bit of our stuff was ruined by deep-seated mould. Their packers did a good job of our smaller items, but didn't label any of the boxes, so we had no idea where any of them went once they arrived at our new place. Anyone considering using this company should look elsewhere. I'd recommend Smart Express instead- in contrast, they moved some furniture and plants for us from another location and took amazing care, and charged similar rates. More...

If it wasnt for the moving squad my move would have been a massive fail. I booked in cbd movers 1-2 weeks ago and also called and confirmed everything on thursday. Today after waiting for them , they did a no show and i had already moved everything into the lounge ready to move. I had to call them multiple times and everytime placed on hold, only to hear sorry we cant do it today. Moral of the story i called the moving squad, they came to me withing 15-20 minz after just finishing a job. And moved my belongings to my new place and took them less then 2 hours.
