Accounting for Good focuses on helping to manage accounting requirements for non profits and charities. We also have a sister company called Tax & Trust that acts as advisor and accountant to small businesses. We really enjoy our job which is to help you grow your organisation / business by finding out initially what your goals are and then working with you in a way to encourage you to achieve them.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business 16 years ago to have more flexibility because I had young children at home. Those children have grown up now and all left home - so now my focus is truely on my clients. I really enjoy helping all my clients and non profit organisations achieve their goals and help many people.

All our staff work on a hybrid basis. We have offices in West Auckland and Nelson, some days we work from home, everything is on the cloud and we all have access to online technology. For all our strategic half day planning times we only do this in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All staff are vaxed.
We are happy wearing masks around the office. Once you are seated in a meeting you may take your mask off if you are comfortable to do so.
