Rich and Co is a design agency specialising in website design and development, plus all print related design such as brand identity brochures, catalogues, flyers and other print work.
The website work I do is all designed and built using Wordpress and Woocommerce which are the most popular platforms and extensively supported globally.

In order to have a great website and not just an average one, it needs the following attributes:
• It must be visually appealing to the target audience it is intended for
• It must be easy and simple to navigate through the site, irrespective of how complex the site is
• It must be fast loading to avoid people leaving the site because it's too slow
• It must be well optimised for SEO to give it the best chance of getting to page one of Google searches (we are not SEO specialists but create well optimised sites)

Describe in detail about your businesses service and/or products
Who is your target audience and what do they look like?
What is the key message that you need to communicate to your customers?
What brand attributes, promises, features and benefits do you want to portray?
Provide 5 adjectives that describe your business
Name at least 6 of your competitors

The creative process will change if it's a website, brochure, brand identity or other service. The above questions will always apply to most.
1. Find out what the client does in detail
2. Determine why they need a website/brochure and what they hope it will achieve for them
3. Scope out a plan for the structure of the website/brochure and what type of content will appear on different pages
4. Determine where the content will be coming from. We can provide it or the client can supply it
5. Once we have the above information and the structure etc is approved, we are able to provide pricing for the project.
6. Begin design of just one or two pages/spreads to ensure the look and feel is correct and the client is happy
7. Proceed gradually, keeping the client in the loop the whole way through and ensure they are happy with each step
8. When completed, ensure the client is happy with everything and make any refinements necessary
9. The project is complete and the client is happy!

An indicative budget. We can design a Fiat or a Ferrari. Both good cars, but very different.

I enjoy producing something that makes the client happy and proud. Whatever I produce must be effective and generate a positive response. If it's a brand, people should be drawn to it. If it's a website, it should generate leads and new business from the right audience. If it's a brochure, it should be inspiring and provide the reader with all the information they need before making contact and ideally another sale.

I enjoy being independent, in charge of my own destiny. I have decades of experience in the industry, but also in running my business.
I understand business and can therefore help others with their business decisions, especially with marketing related information.

I work quickly and efficiently and am particularly pedantic when it comes to things being right. I am well priced and I believe I provide excellent value for money.

Many of my clients I have never even met, as we work together online and completely remote. I am setup with Calendly for people to book a time with me on my website, and my video calls can be on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or on Zoom. I like to make it easy for everyone.

Since I work from home, and most of my clients are online, I have not had too much to worry about.
I do have face-to-face meetings on a semi regular basis, but am often testing myself to ensure that I don't have COVID.
